HUMAN CAPITAL INDEX

Human capital consists of the knowledge, skills, and health that people accumulate throughout their lives, enabling them to realize their potential as productive members of society. We can end extreme poverty and create more inclusive societies by developing human capital. This requires investing in people through nutrition, health care, quality education, jobs and skills.

What happens with a child from birth to 18 years old in South Africa?

The wealth of our country, does not just lie in our produced capital and it does not just lie in our resources, it is in our people.  Our skills, our health, our resilience, our knowledge.  But the average child born today, in Sub Saharan Africa, will only be 40 % as productive as he or she can be, with complete education and full health.

SA CARES FOR LIFE'S MODULE IS DESIGNED TO ADDRESS NUTRITION, HEALTH CARE, SAFETY TO WOMAN AND CHILDREN, QUALITY EDUCATION, JOBS AND SKILLS
